Our librarians are key partners in our work, using their skills to source and deliver information to our front-line teams and customers. Based in a modern, purpose-built Knowledge Centre, they are engaged in a wide range of activities, including:

- Information Architecture
- Document and Records Management
- Search and Retrieval Tools and Techniques
- Web-site Design and Management
- Electronic Information Provision
Recognised as a 'model of best practice' - with the support and mentoring necessary to achieve CILIP chartership and revalidation - ours is the largest (50+) professional information service in government, giving you the chance to gain experience on rotation and considerably broaden your skill set. You will need professional qualifications in Information Science/Librarianship.
