School leavers/Apprenticeships

If you're still at school and interested in working with us, take a look around the site to get a feel for what we do, and to see where you might fit in best.

Our sheer size means we always have opportunities for people who really want to make a difference, and get paid while they're building a career.

While most of our roles do call for a degree, we also consider other qualifications, such as GCSEs and 'A'levels (the 'Vacancy Details' will describe what is required). We also regularly recruit for administrative and clerical roles.

We are currently taking applications for our Technical Apprentice Programme, closing on Sunday 28th March. We will take you through a three year Engineering Apprenticeship at Gloucestershire College, starting in September 2010 (two years at college, third year at GCHQ on placement programme). To join the programme you'll need at least five GCSE's (A-C grade) or equivalent, to include English, Maths and a Science subject. Please click on the link below to find out more and apply.
