Cheltenham is the location of our HQ and our iconic circular shaped building is home to more than 5,000 people - including a large technical community, as well as linguists and a variety of specialist and corporate staff who support our operations around the world.
We moved to this purpose-built accommodation in 2004. Popularly known as the 'doughnut' because of its unique shape, our HQ is so big that you could fit the Royal Albert Hall in its central courtyard. Serviced by an underground road, with a main 'Street' that links all areas and protected by three miles of security fencing, the 'doughnut' provides an excellent working environment. And we've even taken care of down-time with a gym and choice of cafeterias and restaurants.
In the heart of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham is a popular spa town, offering a choice of housing and education, excellent shopping and restaurants, and good communication links with London, Cardiff, Oxford, Bristol and Birmingham. Cheltenham is also home to a number of internationally famous festivals, including:
And, with plenty of places to watch and take part in sports, appreciate the arts or socialise with friends and family, you'll see why Cheltenham is one of the most visited towns in the UK. Explore its Regency streets, parks and open gardens and you'll see that it's one of the most pleasant too.
