You could have the opportunity to join our CyberFirst Summer Placement Development Scheme as part of the bursary recruitment process.

To be eligible, you’ll need to meet the same criteria for the Bursary but have an offer (or be applying) to study one of the NCSC Certified degrees. If you’re already studying one of the NCSC certified degrees, you’ll need to have a minimum of 2 years of full-time study remaining from the start of the scheme in September 2025 and be on track for a 2:1.

This scheme includes everything the bursary has to offer, including the 8-week development placements and summer placement payment equivalent to £2,000, without the bursary payment.
